Fast2Flash™ products are hydrophobic and organophilic foams that eliminate the need for time- and solvent-consuming liquid-liquid extractions (LLE) to workup reaction mixtures. Fast2Flash products are essentially “foam solvents”. The organic products and solvents in the reaction mixture are “dissolved” in the Fast2Flash foam. After the reaction solvent is evaporated, the products remain in the foam. The Fast2Flash foam pad with the reaction products, after washing if needed, is then an ideal input for flash chromatography. It’s that easy! No more separatory funnels or liquid-liquid extractions!
